Five Mile High are a band - formed around the nucleus of D-Lux - a highly successful band for nearly 4 years - playing at military, corporate and hotels throughout the UK. We were the Christmas party band at Risley Hall for the last 3 years, also the Christmas house band at the Monastery night club in Nottingham.
Myself, Jeff on guitar (with the hat) and leigh (the girl) have been joined by Jeffs 2 sons - Roland on keyboards and Richard on bass (who used to be D-lux's sound engineer).
I have been playing drums for the last 33 years - pro for a while, toured the UK and Europe, played support to Level 42.Before rejoining Jeff and Leigh, I was the drummer with Eighty Something/Party Corporation. This band is far superior!
I've known Leigh for the last 6 years - the best female vocalist I've ever worked with.
I've known Jeff for about 8 years. He has his own recording studio in Ilkeston - Mean Street Studios. He's the very best guitarist I know - last year he was demonstrating guitars for 4 days at the Frankfurt music Show.
Roland is a phenomenal keyboard player - having graduated with honours from the Birmingham school of music.
Richard went to Trent poly to learn sound engineering - D-Lux's sound was awesome.

Now as Five Mile High, work hotels and corporate events, military both UK and abroad. We do not wish to work the club scene.
we will hire in the best PA and lights for each vanue - depending on size etc.
We are proud to say that we are a completely live band - no tapes, discs,sequencers,computers, loops etc - not very common nowadays when even top stars cheat their public by using backing discs.
We play a huge variety of material from the 60's soul of Spencer Davis,Wilson Pickett etc, to 70's disco of Bee Gees, Chic, Trampps, 80's rock of Robert Palmer, Bon Jovi, Queen etc thru' 90's Pulp, Robbie Williams to bang up to date Moloko, Kylie, Shania, Sugar Babes etc.
